Do you allow pets?
We do not allow pets at La Jolla Indian Campground. Although, we do allow service animals with proper documentation.
Do you have any discounts?
Yes, we have discounts posted on our home page. Be sure to check back regularly for updated discounts and offers.
Where are you located?
The campground is located off of Highway 76 on the La Jolla Indian Reservation. From Escondido drive East on Valley Parkway to Highway 76. Turn right (East) onto Highway 76 and drive for 8.6 miles. The campground turnoff is on the right just before the convenience store. Click on the link to get directions from Escondido.
If you are driving south on Interstate 15, take the Highway 76 exit and drive East for 24 miles. Click on the link to get directions from Temecula. If you are hauling a large RV or trailer, we recommend you take Interstate 15.
Do you have a store?
Yes, we have our La Jolla Trading Post right up the hill from the campground. We have everything from firewood, gas, deli, food, and ice cold drinks. We will be reopening in May of 2021!
When does the campground open and close?

Can I bring firewood?
No outside wood allowed – All wood is sold at the La Jolla Trading Post due to the gold-spotted oak borer.
Do you allow BBQ grills?
Yes, we allow BBQ grills, propane, or charcoal.
Do you have restrooms and showers?
Yes, there are porta (potties) restrooms throughout the campground and there are three shower/bathroom building in the campground. Showers are no cost.
